The European Union makes a promise to take measures to provide financial assistance to Ukraine for implementation of reforms of civil service, if the law takes the Verkhovna Rada, said the head of the EU delegation in Ukraine Jan Tombinski.

As informs a press-service of the representative office, during the meeting of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the EU high Commissioner on issues of justice, rights of clients, and gender equality Euroway Faith constructive dialogue.

"It gives me complete confidence that Poroshenko wishes to extend its support to Parliament in its work on legislation on civil service to take him in the 2nd reading After the parliamentary work on changes and comments voiced by the people's elected representatives. EU experts are ready to help the Parliament to finish work on an important piece of legislation, which lays the Foundation for a comprehensive reform of public administration. Rada adopted the law on civil service in the first reading in April.
