The Ministry of energy and coal industry of Ukraine formed a working group to establish recommendations to the state enterprise "NNEGC" Energoatom " for the signing of the contract on the return to Ukraine of products of processing of spent nuclear fuel boilers VVER-440 at Rivne NPP, the corresponding order placed on the Ministry.

for example, the working group tasked to prepare advice to the state enterprise "NNEGC" Energoatom "for the signing of the contract with the Russian company "the beacon "" the return to Ukraine of glazed high-level radioactive waste from the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel boilers VVER-440 Rovno NPP and to work out the position of Ukraine in negotiations to determine the owner of the valuable products of processing ".

The removal of spent fuel assemblies of boilers VVER-1000 reactors of Ukrainian NPPs are carried out during the first of the signed intergovernmental agreement and contract between MCC and the Ukrainian NAEK " Energoatom ". The number of spent assemblies, the Price of work and the timing of their return with the South-Ukrainian, Khmelnytsky and Rivne NPP for each year are determined by additional agreements to the contract.
