Russia reacts angrily to diplomat expulsions in Prague The Russian foreign minister condemned on Monday the Czech Republic`s decision to expel two Russian diplomats accused of spying.

"This is yet another provocation," Sergei Lavrov told reporters. He did not say whether Russia planned to take reciprocal measures.

The CTK news agency earlier reported the expulsions, and identified one of the diplomats as a deputy military attache.

The agency quoted Czech intelligence sources as saying both diplomats "have been working for Russian secret services."

A Czech Foreign Ministry spokesman contacted by RIA Novosti declined to comment on the report.

According to the Czech Republic`s iDnes web portal, about 200 Russians work at the embassy in Prague, and at two consulates, in Brno and Karlovy Vary. A report on the site claims that "two-thirds of them are spies."
