She stressed that the problem of immigrants has become particularly relevant in connection with the situation in the middle East and Ukraine.

Then, in October, in Kazakhstan in the format of the meeting of the Council of heads of CIS countries is expected to discuss issues of legal support of migration processes in the CIS ", - said the speaker.

Matvienko also said that " in the face of the deteriorating international situation, we cannot rule out attempts to destabilize the situation in our country."

She recalled that in July, the senators adopted an appeal to the Prosecutor General, Ministry of foreign Affairs and the Ministry of justice with the initiative to establish a Patriotic "stop-list" for foreign non-profit organizations that try to influence political processes in Russia. The activity of a number of nonprofit organizations already recognized as undesirable.
