The signing of the loan agreement between Ukraine and the European Bank for restoration and development (EBRD) for $ 300 million for the purchase of the Kiev gas is expected in the upcoming week, notified on the Internet office of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on Wednesday.

The Board of Directors of the European Bank for restoration and development (EBRD) blessed credit to "Naftogaz of Ukraine" in the amount of 300 million dollars to Finance the procurement of natural gas on the European market. In the Ministry of Finance explained that the loan will be provided to NJSC "Naftogaz of Ukraine" under the guarantee of the Ukrainian government.

"This loan will give opportunity to Fund some of the needs of Ukraine in the purchase and injection of gas into storage under the ground in the last few weeks before the start of the heating season and, thus, to provide an adequate level of gas for the needs of the inhabitants and industry of Ukraine for the successful completion of the winter period
