Russia will launch the last "Progress M" Russian transport ship "Progress M-29M" for the last time in their history blasts off for International space station (ISS). It will carry 2.3 tons of cargo for the crew.

"The launch of transport cargo vehicle "Progress M-29M" is scheduled for October 1, 2015, 19:49 GMT," - said in Roskosmos. The launch will be conducted from the launch pad of N1, with the so-called Gagarin's start, Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan with the help of the carrier rocket "Soyuz-U".

As reported TASS, this will be the last launch of the cargo spacecraft series "Progress M-M". All further launches will be carried out by ships of a new series - "Progress MC". The next launch is scheduled for November 21.

Undocking of "Progress M-29M" from the ISS tentatively scheduled for December 9. Then the ship will be sunk in the Pacific ocean. 1st flight of the ship 4th generation "Progress M-M" was held on 26 November 2008. Its main difference from "trucks" of the previous series became the new on-Board PC - 8 times easier than the previous system. Also, analog telemetry system was replaced by digital.

Note that the number of goods that last "Progress M-M" will deliver to the ISS fuel, air, means for life support of crewmembers, equipment for maintaining in a mode of operation of the station, as well as parcels for the astronauts and cosmonauts.

As told the chief of Department of supply of the ISS Institute of biomedical difficulties of RAS Alexander Agureev, the cargo ship will deliver to the station more than 17 kg of fruits and vegetables. For example, will be sent to 6 kg of apples and 5 kg of grapefruits, oranges 4 kg., 2 kg. of onions and 300 grams of garlic. In addition, the "Progress M" will take astronauts mustard, ketchup, juice, fruit sauce, gourmet sauce, chocolates, peanuts, jam, candy and crackers.
