The last "Progress M" docked to the ISS Russian cargo ship "Progress M-29M" successfully docked to the aggregate compartment of the service module "Zvezda" of Russian segment of the International space station. This is the last in the history of launch vehicle similar modifications.

As explained in the Roscosmos, the spacecraft docking and the station was in automatic mode. "Progress M-29M" was launched on the 1st of October at 19:49 GMT from the Baikonur cosmodrome by launch vehicle "Soyuz-U". After 9 minutes after the spacecraft separated from the third stage rocket and was successfully put into orbit", says the news Agency.

"Progress M-M" delivered to the ISS 2.3 tons of cargo. It's food, fuel, air, means for life support of crewmembers, equipment for maintaining in a mode of operation of the station and parcels for cosmonauts and astronauts.

Note that this was the last launch of the cargo spacecraft series "Progress M-M". All further launches will be carried out by ships of a new series - "Progress MC". The next start is scheduled for 21 November 2015, says TASS.

Undocking of "Progress M-29M" from the ISS is scheduled for December 9, then it will be sunk in the Pacific ocean. 1st flight of the ship 4th generation "Progress M-M" was held on 26 November 2008. Its main difference from "trucks" of the previous series became the new on-Board PC - 8 times lighter than the former. Besides all this, the analog telemetry system was replaced by digital.
