The Parliament of Ukraine adopted in the first reading the draft law, which will give the opportunity to arrest and to apply the procedure of specefically property in persons during the criminal proceedings, this Document is part of a package of laws necessary for visa liberalization with the EU.

Such decision on Thursday was supported by 232 parliamentarians at the required minimum of 226 votes. The document must undergo a second reading.

The profile Committee of the Verkhovna Rada was proposed to reject the draft law, noting the possibility of abuse of process in criminal proceedings and pressure on persons involved in the case. However, the government promised to take into account the comments of the deputies in the preparation of the document for the second reading.

Rada adopted in first reading a number of technical projects of laws which are included in the package for visa-free regime.

According to Ukrainian Parliament speaker Volodymyr Groysman during the preparation of the documents for the second reading will set up a joint working group with the assistance of commissioners from the Ministry of justice and with the involvement of European experts who will finalize these bills.

Kiev hopes to get visa-free regime with the European Union in early 2016, But for this it is necessary to fulfill several conditions of Europe. For example, the story is about the improvement of the passport surveillance at borders and the introduction of internal passports of the European model in the form of a biometric ID card.
