Dry red wine helps with diabetes Dry red wine positively affects the hearts of the inhabitants of our planet with diabetes, announced American and Israeli scientists.

According to them, the daily consumption of this alcoholic beverage perfected status of the circulatory system, and protects the blood vessels from the overgrowth of plaque.

In most cases, the onset of diabetes is accompanied by multiple disorders in the body. For a start it applies to vessels, violations of which lead to diabetic retinopathy.

Rachel Golan from Israeli Institution, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and her colleagues conducted a study. For purity of experiment all diabetics supported the same - Mediterranean - diet that is limited by the number of calories. But the researchers plan to conduct the same studies with the participation of a larger number of volunteers (in the first experiments involved only 224 people), in order to be convinced of the usefulness of wine for diabetics.
