"Significant attention will be paid to the reform of the Security Council and to counter abuse of the veto power by the permanent members, one of whom was the aggressor against Ukraine ", - said Poroshenko in a televised address, announced on Thursday evening.

"Improvement of peacekeeping and peacebuilding activities of the UN, the fight against crime and its manifestations, the provision of legally binding Security guarantees to countries that voluntarily did not want a nuclear-weapon - all it will be among the priorities of our future work in the UN Security Council," - said the Ukrainian leader.
