Poroshenko will look question about stop of supply of electric energy to Crimea
E-Petition initiative to stop the supply of the Ukrainian electric energy to Crimea gathered more than 25 thousand Votes needed for consideration by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
The petition was registered on the Internet representation of the President on 8 September and have already gained 26 thousand Votes.
The head of Ukraine considered posted on the Internet office of the petition, it must Express support for a minimum of 25 thousand People for more than three months from the date of promulgation. Then the President may submit to the Verkhovna Rada the draft laws aimed at solving the petition questions. In normal mode, the Crimea provides itself with 30% with electric power generation, 70% diversion from Ukraine. In case of emergency: Peninsula at the expense of own sources of electric power will be able to supply themselves by 70-80%. In 2015 on-site generation of electrical energy on the Peninsula grew by more than 28%. In addition, by the end of the year is expected to completion of construction of the first phase of the energy transition from Krasnodar Krai with a capacity of up to 400 MW per day. The second phase of similar capacity will be constructed in summer 2016. In Crimea on March 16 of last year held a referendum on the status of autonomy, more 96% of participants who were in favor of joining region in Russia. 21 March 2014 the President of Russia Vladimir Putin signed the law on ratification of the agreement on joining of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia and signed the decree about formation of the Crimean Federal district.
