The foreign Ministry of Ukraine agitates the government of the Russian Federation to cancel the order according to which are located in Crimea and Sevastopol objects of cultural heritage receive the Federal status, according to a report by the press service of the Ministry.

"The Ukrainian foreign Ministry expresses its decisive protest in connection with the adopted by the RF government decree about the attribution of cultural heritage of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to the objects of cultural heritage of Federal significance ", - reported in circulation, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"The Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine agitates the international Commonwealth to condemn any attempt of the Russian Federation to assign the cultural heritage of Ukraine and demands from the Russian side the immediate cancellation of the specified order of the government, the implementation of the unconditional fulfilment by Russia of its obligations according to the norms of international law, respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine ", - is informed in the report.

Crimea became a Russian region in March 2014 after the referendum in which over 90% of residents voted for secession from Ukraine and reunification with Russia. In the capital of Russia emphasize that the referendum in Crimea meets standards of international law and the UN Charter. Ukraine still considers the Crimea her, but at the time occupied territory.
