Divers have found your favorite yacht Peter I An international team of divers found the boat in the waters of group of Islands near Tistlarna Sweden. The tall ship has lain on the seabed for 300 years. Noteworthy is the finding that the ship Royal Transport ship was considered a favorite of the last Tsar of all Russia Peter I.

Sailing yacht Royal Transport which had been sunk on 27 September 1715, old style, was discovered by a group of divers from Russia and Sweden. The ship sank a favorite of Peter I in the result of the terrible storms South of Gothenburg in the waters group of Islands Tistlarna. The ship followed in Russia from Arkhangelsk.

The group expects to notify local authorities about the discovery. Also, divers are going to apply for lifting individual parts of the vehicle for display in Russia.

The researchers also told the story of the wreck of the yacht. Just after the disaster survived 25 crew members, of whom - 16 Russian seamen and 9 residents of England and Denmark. "The Russians for a long time did not leave the sinking standing in the water on the Marsa ship. It seems that all who are chosen in the sea, was released to the world or changed to captured Swedish soldiers", - said the participant of the expedition.

Royal Transport is a sailing yacht of 28 meters in length, comprising from 26 to 28 guns. The ship was presented to the first Emperor of Russia the king of great Britain William III of orange. It should be noted that the ship was listed as one of the fastest for its time.
