The European Bank for restoration and development (EBRD) and "Naftogaz of Ukraine" signed a contract for the provision of EBRD loan for the purchase of gas by Ukraine, according to a report of " Naftogaz ".

Credit funds in the amount of 300 million dollars intended for the purchase of about 1 billion cubic meters of gas on the Western border of Ukraine.

Signatures to the agreement was signed by the head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine Natalie Jaresko and 1st Vice-President and Director of operations of the EBRD Phil Bennett.
