Observers from Denmark told about the bribery of voters in Ukraine
Observers of the international public organization SILBA (support Initiative for liberty and democracy) from Denmark that oversee the conduct of local elections in Ukraine, told that at the time of closure of polling stations the election rated positively, but emphasize the possible facts of bribery of voters, reports.

However, several problem have been documented incidents of possible bribery of voters ", - said the Agency's press coordinator SILBA Andrew Bendtsen.
SILBA is the largest national delegation on the local elections in Ukraine, it is composed of 31 observers. All of them are Danish citizens, and in the elections they are accompanied by 24 Ukrainian translator. The delegation divided into 14 teams, which carry out observation at 150 polling stations. SILBA promotes democracy in Eastern Europe. The organization was founded in 1994 and is actively involved in the democratic processes in the Baltic States.

The CEC of Ukraine has registered 33 international observer from Denmark.

Local elections were held in Ukraine on Sunday on the new electoral law. Regional, city and district councils elected under the proportional system with open lists. The results must be determined before November 4 and made public for five days. In the elections has not had the opportunity to participate blocks of political parties, the electoral threshold for parties was raised from 3% to 5%. The election will turnout.
