The President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin considers desirable to form integrated views on challenges and threats related to chemical and radiation safety of the state. "Serious attention should be paid to the analysis of challenges and security threats in these spheres. At the moment this work is carried out by the Ministry of defense and in several agencies. It is necessary to form common views on the challenges and threats that will enable a more successful protection of our people from them" - quoted TASS the head of the country, speaking at a meeting of the security Council.

The President said that in today's world there are many man-made threats, from which you want to save the country. According to his statement, it is necessary to ensure the safety on objects of nuclear power, also in enterprises where stored, manufactured or used critical radiation and chemicals.

Also, Putin instructed in the foreseeable future to revise the personal protective equipment people and update them. "In the foreseeable future should make an inventory of personal protective equipment residents, to qualify which of them are morally and technically became dilapidated, and to develop measures to replenish the reserves of such funds with the help of progressive samples", - he declared.

The leader of the country stressed that the creation of new funds must be sewn only domestic. Also, the study and operation of this equipment must have technological support. "It should be aimed at effective prevention of all kinds of probable dangers", - said Vladimir Putin.
