The Communist party of Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Ukraine in the ECHR
The Communist party of Ukraine (CPU) filed a lawsuit against Ukraine to the European court of human rights (ECHR) because of the decision of the Ministry of justice to impose a ban on her to participate in the elections, informs a press-service of the Ukrainian Communist party.
"Dependent Ukrainian courts and the Ministry of justice, did not want to restore the legitimate rights of the Communists to the will. For this reason, guided by the norms of international law, the Communist party of Ukraine forced to turn to the European court of human rights to restore justice ", ? cites the letter of the press service, RIA " Novosti ".

It is noted that before the Communist party filed to the Ministry of justice four lawsuits: two lawsuits about the illegality of decisions of the authority Under which the party recognized as not conforming to " the law of decommunization ", and two lawsuits against the inactivity of the Agency. The inactivity of the Ministry of justice, in the opinion of the Communist party, is the failure of the party regulations, what exactly the party does not conform to the " law on decommunization ", and confirming that no check of this law. Later, the court consolidated these lawsuits into a single case. In the last month of summer the Ministry of justice of Ukraine announced the rules, which supporters of the Communist party will be able to participate in the elections in Ukraine: if they unite with the opposite party in the block and abandon Communist symbols. Recall, the Ukrainian government has deprived the Communist party of the rights to be the subject of political and electoral processes. Are operating in Ukraine, the Communist party of Ukraine (KPU), the Communist party of Ukraine (renewed) and the Communist party of workers and villagers. Anyway, the Communist party of Ukraine told about the intention to participate in local elections, despite the decision of the Ministry of justice to ban the Communist party to be the subject of political and electoral processes.
