Poroshenko: the revenge at the local elections in Ukraine was not
The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko believes that revenge on the local elections in Ukraine were Not democratic forces on the results of the vote were given the opportunity to form Pro-the overwhelming majority in most local councils.

Local elections were held in Ukraine on 25 October on a new electoral law. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority vote, and in large cities was expected to conduct the 2nd round, if no single candidate gained more than 50% of the vote.

"There was no rematch - democratic forces, if they are responsible, are able to form Pro-the overwhelming majority in almost every local Council in Ukraine," said Poroshenko on Sunday in the interview to Ukrainian TV channels.

"We can now say that the reboot of power at the level of presidential elections, parliamentary elections and local elections took place," he added.
