Naftogaz said it planned to purchase gas from Russia in 2016
Kiev plans to buy gas from Russia's Gazprom before the end of the year and in case of adequate prices will continue buying in the 1st quarter of the coming year, said the head of the Ukrainian Naftogaz Andrey Kobelev.
He also said that Ukraine until the end of the year does not plan to inject gas into storage under the ground, reports RIA " Novosti ".
"The supply of gas, which is currently in our underground storage facilities, We deem it necessary to pass this winter. We will be able to do with this stock, plus incomplete imports, with both Russian and European sides. At the moment, time savings amount to more than 17 billion cubic meters of gas, " - said Kobolyev.
