The event, held on may 2, 2014 at the Kulikovo field in Odessa activists " Antimaydana ", turned into a tragedy oposlya, as their opponents were the radicals of the extremist "Right sector" football " ultras ". According to official data, lost his life around 50 people, all who received damage - more than 250.

"The events in Odessa on 2 may 2014 were so important that the authorities were obliged to provide sufficient information about the investigation, to facilitate effective public control. Although the government published a large volume of information, this was done in the absence of an effective communication policy, and, as a consequence, some of the information was confusing and contradictory, and were provided unevenly and with insufficient regularity, " the report read.

the Advisory group also believes that the Ukrainian investigating authorities had not taken any concerted action to provide direct and regular reporting to victims and their relatives regarding the progress of the investigation.
