International reserves of Ukraine in October increased by 188 million (1, 5%) to 12, 962 billion as of November 1, informs on Thursday, the national Bank of Ukraine.

The increase in inventories in the 1st place was due to the purchase of foreign currency on the interbank currency market of Ukraine. In October, the national Bank has received about 300 million dollars. In addition, the International reserves were replenished by proceeds from KFW Bank (Germany) in favor of the government of Ukraine in the amount of 199 million euros.

currently, the volume of international reserves of Ukraine is sufficient to fulfill its commitments and ongoing operations of the government and the national Bank, stresses the regulator.
