Opposing political force: the Parliament has to restore the hearing of the tragedy in Odessa
The parliamentary Commission of inquiry the events of may 2 last year in Odessa without delay again to start work, said Tuesday the people's Deputy from party "Oppositional block" Nikolay Skorik.

on Wednesday, the Advisory group of the Council of Europe presented its own report on the tragedy in Odessa. The Commission believes that the Ukrainian investigation has not achieved significant progress. It was noted the insufficient level of independence of the investigation, taking into account the availability of evidence of belonging of employees of militia to the incident, and that the shortcomings in the investigation undermined the ability of the Ukrainian authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice. The Advisory group believes that the Ukrainian proceedings of the conflict did not correspond to the European agreement on human rights (ECHR).

Skorik said that the faction "Opposition bloc" called again to begin work the Commission of inquiry of Parliament on investigation of events in Odessa.

"A year and a half after the events in Odessa, no one was punished. For this reason, we urgently required again to begin work the Commission of inquiry and to demonstrate to the citizens of Ukraine and the European public our dedication to the rule of law regardless of political direction. I am confident that the work of the Commission of inquiry will give new impetus to the investigation of the events of may 2 in Odessa ", - quotes its words a press-party service.

The event, held on may 2, 2014 at the Kulikovo field in Odessa activists " Antimaydana ", turned into a tragedy oposlya, as their opponents were the radicals of the extremist "Right sector" football " ultras ". Several dozen protesters have lost their lives during the fire at the House of trade unions, which tried to hide. According to official data, lost his life around 50 people, all who received damage - more than 250.
