The head of Ukrainian government Arseniy Yatsenyuk agreed with the Prime Minister of Latvia Laimdota Straujuma, Kiev and Riga will develop cooperation in the sphere of air transportation in connection with the entered sanctions against Russian airlines.

The parties also agreed to hold an intergovernmental trade and economic Commission in the first part of next year. Latvia will also provide assistance to Ukraine in establishing an effective system of forest governance and overcoming bribery in this field. Yatsenyuk also said that the project begins advanced training of Ukrainian government officials in Latvia.
