"There are many technical issues that we have to solve in time to get the money this year, and while we have no assurance that we will be able to do it," - said KOBOLEV.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk had previously stated that Kiev until the end of the year in total, it is necessary for the purchase of gas and its pumping into underground storage facilities of 1, 3 billion dollars, of which five hundred million dollars already on account of " Naftogaz ", 300 mln Ukraine expects from the EBRD, another five hundred million dollars from the world Bank.

First, the amount of five hundred million dollars was used by Naftogaz to purchase gas from Gazprom (about 2 billion cubic meters) during the winter package, initialed the Russian Federation, Ukraine and the EC. According to Kobolyev, "Naftogaz" already in practice chose These 2 billion cubic meters of gas and 31 October had to finish them pumping into UGS.

at the end of October, Naftogaz and the EBRD signed an agreement for the provision of credit in the amount of 300 million dollars for the purchase of gas by Ukraine. These funds allow us to purchase about 1 billion cubic meters of gas on the Western border of Ukraine.
