The court in absentia in Kyiv left in custody former Prime Minister of Ukraine Azarov
The appellate court of Kiev left under in absentia arrest of ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, dismissed the appeal of protection on his detention, informs on Wednesday the Ukrainian news Agency referring to the press service of the court.

Who headed the Cabinet from March 2010, Azarov wrote a message about the dismissal, on 28 January 2014 in order to settle the fall, caused by mass protests supporters of European integration, dissatisfied with the suspension of preparations for the signing of the Treaty on unification of Ukraine with the EU. Currently the ex-Premier is hosted outside of Ukraine. He left the country after a coup in 2014, during which the leader Viktor Yanukovych was removed from power. Fresh authorities opened a number of criminal cases against former bureaucrats. Azarov, for example, is accused of abuse of office.

Azarov previously said that he is ready to return to the country, no matter in which capacity, but only after the change of the current government.

in January 2015, the court in Kiev ruled to arrest Azarov, it gives the investigators the right to demand the extradition of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine.

According to the Agency, the Board of judges during a meeting on Wednesday adopted a new decision according to which for Azarov elected forbidden measure in the form of detention.
