The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine establishes the possible involvement of ex-Minister of justice Olena Lukash to the activities of the "illegal group" of former President Viktor Yanukovych, said the assistant to the public Prosecutor Vladislav Kutsenko on the phone on air of TV channel "" on Wednesday.

Lucas, detained last week by employees of security Service of Ukraine, gave evidence on the case of crimes during actions in support of European integration in Kiev in the winter of 2014.

"at the moment Lukas was in the Prosecutor's office questioned in these cases is still as a witness. We know quite a lot of episodes where specifically mentioned (Lucas - ed.) Association with former President Yanukovych. For this reason, at present the consequence finds out circumstances of possible involvement of Mrs. Lucas to participate directly in the activities of illegal groups Yanukovych, " - said Kutsenko.

He said that the Prosecutor General's office investigated a serious case under the criminal code, the open according to section 255 of the Criminal code of Ukraine - the activities and the development of organized illegal groups - a relative of former President Viktor Yanukovych.

"There's a lot of episodes investigated, and among them, the economic lawlessness of the Yanukovych regime. The service of iniquity and lawlessness against the people, and among them the shootings of the active participants of the euromaidan ", - said Kutsenko.
