The GPU was summoned for interrogation the head of the Ministry of justice in the case of the pressure on the COP
The Prosecutor General's office of Ukraine was summoned for questioning of the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko in the criminal case of pressure upon the constitutional Court by consideration of the law on lustration.

"the Prosecutor General's office summoned me for interrogation on criminal case about the pressure on the constitutional Court during consideration of the law on cleansing of power (lustration)," wrote Petrenko on his page on Wednesday.

The Minister called as witness in the case.

in mid-September of last year the Parliament of Ukraine with the 3rd attempt blessed the law on lustration. The Supreme Court and a group of deputies from "Oppositional block" has addressed in KS with the request to assess the constitutionality of the law. The court proceeded to consider this issue on 16 April 2015.

The constitutional Court in October held hearings on the constitutionality of the lustration law, despite criticism from Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who said that the current Board cannot consider this case because eight members of the court themselves subject to the law on lustration. The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the judges of the constitutional court must be dismissed.

Twenty 3rd of October, the constitutional Court of Ukraine declared a break for an extended period of time on the case of constitutionality of the lustration law, to consider the motion of an envoy of Parliament about the disqualification of judges.
