Polling stations for voting in the 2nd round of elections of mayors of large cities were closed in Ukraine on Sunday in 20. 00 local time (21. 00 MSK).

The second round was held in 29 cities of Ukraine, for example, re-valaisiana took place in several major cities: Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Kherson, Nikolaev, Zaporozhye, Poltava, Uzhgorod and Chernihiv.

1st round of elections was held on 25 October. In small towns with population over 90 thousand people, the mayor was elected by a simple majority of votes and was appointed Second round, if none of the candidates could gain an absolute majority (50% plus one vote).

The official results of the 2nd round must be determined before November 20, inclusive.
