Lady GaGa to Continue Tour Without Kid Cudi Lady GaGa has just lost Kid Cudi as her main opening artist for her "Monster Ball" tour. MTV News reported that on Wednesday, December 16, Cudi released a statement, saying he had to leave the tour due to scheduling conflicts.

"Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga`s Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments," the statement read. "Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January."

However, rumor suggested that Cudi`s departure is not 100% on his own accord. It was said he was knocked out of the roadshow due to his December 12 incident in Toronto. He, at the time, punched one of the fans, named Michael Sharpe, who mistakenly caught a wallet which was tossed back by Cudi after previously thrown to the stage by someone while the rapper was performing.

Replacing Cudi for the opening act is "Whatcha Say" hitmaker Jason Derulo. Confirming the report, Jason wrote on his Twitter page, "Just found out that I`m not opening 4 GAGA anymore, I`m now the MAIN SUPPORTER!!! Get Ready!!!" He further tweeted, "Initially I was opening 4 GAGA with a 20 min set. Now I have a half an hour on stage AFTER the opening act. A `Full Set`!!!"

Lady GaGa herself still has to continue her tour with or without Kid Cudi. She has begun the tour four days after she released her album "The Fame Monster" on November 23. The "Poker Face" singer started her tour at Bell Center, in Montreal Canada on November 27, 2009 and will end it at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in France Paris on May 19, 2010.
