The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday adopted in General the draft law, which will give an opportunity to withdraw from the state-owned print media and will forbid local authorities to establish a fresh print media.

the proper decision at the meeting on the first day of the week supported 260 parliamentarians with the necessary minimum of 226 votes.

in the explanatory paper to the document it is reported that the purpose of the bill is to limit the influence of state authorities and local self-government on the activities of the media.

"This law is not only part of Ukraine's commitments before the Council of Europe and brings us closer to civilized countries. Removal from state property for many years waiting for correspondents of the state and communal mass media, the most in the regions, where local authorities perceive such Newspapers as the media and private propaganda mouthpieces, " he wrote on his page in Facebook the people's Deputy Irina Gerashchenko Happy.

According to the text of the bill, public authorities from the founders may be followed by the conversion of her members, without changing its name and thematic focus of the media, as well as the privatization of the property of the reformed editions of the publication.

in addition, the conclusion on the reform of the print media will take their founders with the assistance of labour collective. In the absence of suggestions from the editors or in case the privatization of publication is not prescribed in legislation right, the founders are obliged to take the decision to stop the release media.
