Secretary of Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said that the Turkish military acted properly in case of violation of the Russian su-24 air space of Turkey.

On Tuesday the Russian su-24 crashed in the Syrian Arab Republic. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin said that the plane was shot down by a rocket type "air-air" with a Turkish F-16 aircraft over Syrian territory and fell on the ground in Syria 4 kilometers from the border with Turkey. The Russian President called it a "stab in the back" from supporters of terrorists.
