Gas supplies from Russia to Ukraine have the opportunity to stop for 2 days for lack of payment, said the head of Ministry of energy of Russia Alexander Novak.

yesterday the head of "Gazprom" Alexey Miller has specified that the advance payment for Russian gas until now not received. The last tranche for gas was adopted from Ukraine 5 November. Miller said that Ukraine now takes a very small amount of gas. But even at similar volumes to Ukraine prepaid gas left for a few days.

"Today is the tomorrow gas Supplies will not be supplied for lack of payment," - said Novak on the radio station.

in the period from October 2015 to end March 2016, "Gazprom" and "Naftogaz" interact on the basis of the winter gas package, initialed by Russia, Ukraine and the EC on 25 September. It provides for compulsory purchase of "Naftogaz" from "Gazprom" on gas credit five hundred million dollars, raised through the EC. This commitment, Ukraine has already completed, transferring to Gazprom, according to the final data, 542 million dollars in payment.
