Ukraine announced the introduction of fees in 39, 2% in the number of Belarusian subjects
The interagency Commission for international trade of Ukraine adopted a decision to introduce 20 January 2016, a special fee of $ 39, 2% on the import of certain items from Belarus, according to the report of the Commission.
"The introduction of fees is a response to unfriendly actions from the Belarus in relation to Ukrainian companies of the confectionery and brewery industries ", ? leads the letter to the interdepartmental Commission of the government newspaper " governmental courier ".



According to the Commission decision, January 20, 2016 is introduced a special tax of $ 39, 2 % of the customs value of the goods on import to Ukraine of a number of items originating from Republic of Belarus. For example, the special duty will be levied on dairy products and cheeses, fish products, confectionery, bakery goods, beer, vodka, salt, cosmetics and shampoos, detergents and cleaning products, matches, plastic goods, kitchen furniture, tires, tractor, fabrics, furniture and other goods. According to the decision of the Commission, the special duty will be used to establish the fact of termination and discriminatory unfriendly actions from the Belarus to Ukraine. As reported by the print edition OPINION, in September Belarus was closed to Ukrainian confectioners own market. Trade Association of manufacturers of confectionery products " Ukrkondprom ", which includes the Company "Roshen" Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, AVK Kharkiv biscuit factory "Nestle Ukraine" and other Ukrainian confectioners, has accused Belarus of discrimination due to the introduction of Minsk from August 27 mandatory sanitary examination for the Ukrainian subjects.
