Russia has presented to Kazakhstan's proposals on the location and cost of new space complex " Baiterek ", said on the last working day of the week the Deputy Chairman of the government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin.

"The Russian side has prepared and submitted to the Kazakh side of the materials to select the places of possible placement of the complex, as well as the cost parameters of creation of space rocket complex," he said at a meeting of the Russian-Kazakh intergovernmental Council for the " Baikonur "complex.

according to him, Russia "is from those realities that have developed in the actual destruction of the Ukrainian rocket-space industry on manufacture of rockets "Zenit" (previously expected to use these rockets for launches from complex) ".

"Today we must find the optimal solution, lest there be any doubt as to the realization of the idea to create complex "Baiterek" on the basis of other launch vehicles, which today has the Russian side, " - said Rogozin.

As explained the Deputy Minister, Experts of the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, working during mutual group, will present to the Commission options for addressing this issue.
