Just days after slurring through her acceptance speech at the Palm Springs Film Festival, Mariah Carey has announced she?s launching her very own champagne brand.

Today the singer took to her twitter to announce the news, and poke a little fun at herself. She wrote, "Didn`t realize they put the champagne on the tables, So we WOULDN`T drink it! LoL. No, seriously ANGEL CHAMPAGNE (ROSE) by MC coming soon!"

Back in 2006, Mariah invested in Mendocino County winery`s Mariah Zinfandel. But it seems this is her first time doing it under her own empire.

Paris Hilton has tried her hand at the champagne business-she launched her own line called Rich Prosecco in 2007 that came in a can. And Mariah seems like she?s been doing her "research" lately, so maybe this will be a successful business venture!
