Holidays for school children in six districts of the Crimea, declared Tuesday in connection with the de-energizing of the Peninsula extended by another week, said during the meeting of the operational headquarters on emergency situations of the destruction of the head of the Republic Sergey Aksenov.

"Holidays for school children in six municipalities of Crimea is prolonged, the resolution was approved. As for other areas - that decision is up to the municipalities ", - said Aksenov.

Crimea is experiencing an acute shortage in power supply because of a stopping delivery of electric energy from the territory of Ukraine. Last Friday in the Kherson region have been undermined by power transmission towers supplying electricity to the Crimea. Currently electricity supply to the Peninsula from Ukraine is completely finished. In the region introduced a state of emergency until full power is restored.
