Russia has criticized the accession of Montenegro to NATO Russian politicians commented on the expansion of NATO in the result of the accession of Montenegro. They are of the opinion that it will upset relations with Moscow.

Russian politicians have criticized the accession of Montenegro to NATO. So a member of the Russian delegation to the parliamentary Assembly Andrey Krasov believes that the West wants to make Montenegro more manageable.

According to his statement, the population of Montenegro there is no consensus regarding the connection to the unit, however this decision was imposed on them by the authorities.

1st Deputy head of the international Committee of the state Duma Leonid Kalashnikov has declared that relations of Russia and Montenegro will change with the entry powers in the Alliance.
