A few days ago the head of the Ministry said that Kyiv plans to resume purchase of coal in South Africa in 2016, so, in January is expected to deliver 170 tonnes.

Already started unloading the ship, the first cars will be shipped at Trypilska TPP. Subsequent cargo of anthracite to Ukraine is expected on 12 December, two more ships will arrive in January 2016.

Many Ukrainian mines are in the Donbass. Most of them came under the control of the self-proclaimed republics, Kiev and are now forced to buy imported anthracite coal required Ukrainian thermal power plants to generate electricity.
