The Siberian has set a new world record The inhabitant of Krasnoyarsk Nikolay Kalimov set a new world record for pulling up on the bar. 54-year-old Siberian has managed to raise his body 4989 times in 12 hours.

"In Krasnoyarsk force marathon began on 5 December at 13:30. Everything was going well on schedule. Initially, Kalimov did 10 approaches to climbs, and by the sixth hour of tests already measured to 5. And everything worked out. At the turn of the 6 hours Nicholas could perform 3455 climbs, and at 01:30 the panel of judges established a new world - 4989 times for 12 hours," says Main Department for physical culture, sports and tourism administration of Krasnoyarsk city.

Now the video record, led by a panel of judges, it is planned to send to the Committee of the Guinness Book of records and Books of records of Russia. The previous world record for pull-UPS belonged to the Czech Jan Kares, which in 2014 managed to perform 3378 repetitions for 6 hours and 4654 12 hours.

Nikolai Kalimova 54 years, he is a master of sports in polyathlon. Previously, he often found himself in the book of records of Russia, namely, 8 August 2015 in the framework of the Day of the athlete he tightened 494 times in 30 minutes.
