Police found the woman handbag baby koalas In Brisbane, Australia, police arrested the woman who gave them over an archived package containing baby koalas.

50-year-old woman was stopped while on patrol and arrested for a pair of "outstanding issues". When asked if she has anything to declare, she gave a green canvas bag and said that inside is a Koala.

"Not quite believing his ears officers carefully opened the bag and found a gorgeous baby koalas," reads the statement of the police service. The woman reported that she found the animal last night.

6-month-old baby Koala, which weighs 1.5 kg, was transferred to the Royal Australian society for the prevention of cruelty to animals stating that the Koala was dehydrated, but "things are on the mend."

Now that the Koala is in the hands of animal advocates, it has a new name - Alfred.
