In Pakistan militants attacked a police training Academy. At least 59 people were killed and 118 were injured.

Major General Sher Afghan, the chief of the paramilitary frontier corps, told reporters Tuesday that the attack stood linked militant group Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, which has repeatedly carried out deadly attacks on Shia Muslims in the country in recent years.
