The coffin of Shimon Peres made on the Jerusalem mount Herzl Early Friday morning, the coffin of Shimon Peres was loaded on the hearse which went to the national cemetery in Jerusalem on mount Herzl.

A long list of dignitaries and foreign leaders arrived in Jerusalem to honor the memory of Perez, including President Barack Obama, Palestinian authority President Mahmoud Abbas, foreign Minister of Egypt Sameh shoukry and the leaders of France and Germany.

Abbas took his place in the big white tent on mount Herzl, while Obama sat next to one of the sons of Shimon Peres. About 8 thousand police officers were deployed in key locations to protect world leaders amid fears of a terrorist attack.

Although a spokesman for the Israeli police Micky Rosenfeld told CNN on Thursday that there was "no specific hint at all" for a potential attack.

In his funeral Eulogy, Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Peres "lived a life of purpose ... he was a great man of Israel, he was a great man of peace." He added: "Israel mourn his loss, the world mourns him, but we find hope in his legacy, as does the whole world."

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin said that Perez was "a man that thought that time has no power over him."

On Thursday the coffin of Shimon Peres was placed in front of the Israeli Parliament in the Knesset. Stream grieving people moved slowly past the police and journalists to pay their last respects to the deceased. An estimated 25 thousand people took place in the first 8 hours at the farewell ceremony, said the press Secretary of the Knesset Utes Yakir.
