In California in El Cajon protesters gathered for a second night, demanding to punish the police officer who killed an unarmed black man.

38-year-old Alfred Okwera Olando pulled an electronic cigarette from his pocket and pointed it at the police, then the officer shot him. At a press conference, mayor bill wells did not name the second officer. Wells said he understands the frustration of protesters who blocked the highway. "I understand that they don't feel heard. I understand that they want more information." Wells said he saw the video and he says it hurts. But he called for patience while the investigation is going.
