In new Jersey arrested a suspect in the terrorist attack The next day after the investigation led to the capture of a man suspected of planting bombs in new York and new Jersey, leaving more questions than answers.

What was the motive? Worked if the suspect is 28-year-old Ahmad Khan Rahimi alone or were other people involved? What training has he had? What was the purpose of his lengthy trips to Afghanistan and Pakistan?

As the police found out Rahami "directly connected" with the bombings on Saturday in new York and new Jersey, and investigators believed linked to a homemade bomb found on Sunday evening at the train station Elizabeth, NJ, the sources said. Rahimi was charged with five counts of attempted murder of a law enforcement officer and unlawful possession of a weapon, according to Union County, new Jersey office of the public Prosecutor.

Rahami was taken into custody after the owner of a bar in Linden, new Jersey, found him sleeping at the door of his bar on Monday morning. Haiber Baines, owner of the tavern Mardi learned Rahami after watching CNN on his laptop and called the police.

When officers approached him, Rahami pulled a gun and opened fire, striking the officer in the chest. Followed the chase, during which Rahimi shot in a police car, causing the bullet hit the officer in the face.

Authorities believe that the "main guy" was caught, but the investigation is ongoing to determine whether the criminal accomplices. The data indicate that Rahami not acted alone.

Rahami first came to the United States in 1995, after his father arrived in search of refuge, and became a U.S. citizen in 2011. Rahimi traveled for long periods of time in Afghanistan and Pakistan in the last 5 years, the officials said. While in Pakistan in July 2011, he married a Pakistani woman. Two years later, in April 2013, he traveled to Pakistan and remained there until March 2014 to return to the United States.
