A court in Ukraine has refused to return the city to Cover the name Ordzhonikidze
The Supreme administrative Court of Ukraine recognize the legitimacy of renaming the town of Ordzhonikidze, in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the Cover, said the press service of the court.

"The Supreme administrative Court of Ukraine denied the claim and left the said decision of the Verkhovna Rada of the renaming of the city of Ordzhonikidze without changes", - the letter quoted by the news Agency. From April 2 to Ukraine came into force the decision of the Parliament to rename more than 150 settlements in 16 oblasts of Ukraine. Among them the new name ? Cover ? went to the town of Ordzhonikidze, in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Later, a local citizen filed a lawsuit in the Dnipropetrovsk administrative Court of appeal. He claims that the city did not carry out any civil hearings concerning renaming. The court granted the claim message regarding the illegality of the preparation of documents for the renaming. The case was referred for review to a higher Court. Remember, in October last year, the Ukrainian national memory Institute has published a list of persons " whose names are required to be erased from maps of Ukraine ". Just a list of 520 names with a short indication of the claims. In April 2015 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law " about the condemnation of the Communist and Nazi regimes ", which operates in Ukraine in may 2015. He suggests, for example, the renaming of cities and streets named after Soviet statesmen.
