In Moscow started the Russian Paralympic games. The opening ceremony was held yesterday, and today the athletes already out on the course. The event takes place on the basis of the Olympic team of Russia in Novogorsk and in the sports complex at Round lake.

Began competitions in the program of Open Russian-wide competitions in sports included in the program of the Paralympic games, is the official name. At 11.00 they started competing in powerlifting and went at the start of athletes. All competitions will be held for 18 Paralympic disciplines in which will take part about 400 athletes with disabilities and their trainers. This rowing sports, athletics, powerlifting, swimming, shooting archery, Cycling, volleyball, golbol, judo, horse riding, tennis, triathlon, fencing, mini-football. It is clear that our Paralympic athletes were in a difficult situation: no external enemy. But as stated by one of the coaches of the national team, his team has no problems with motivation. They all open out to the start, ready to show the best results.

It is clear that not all sports are possible to organize competition within a single team. For example, it is impossible to make a grid of competitions in team sports with one team. So for team sports these days will be held master classes for spectators with the participation of management of Russian sports. And in seven disciplines where possible martial arts, will award the medal sets. These results can be compared with those that show the Paralympic Games in Brazil.
