Six children were taken to hospital after he received an electric shock when they went to the attraction in new London on Tuesday afternoon, reports CBS Hartford affiliate WFSB.

The children were on the ride at Ocean Beach Park when he received an electric shock. The victims received minor injuries and was taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital.

Authorities say one child suffered minor burns to his hands when he touched the turnstile, leaving the area of the drive.

The operator was also in shock when he turned off the attraction. It is unclear what caused the electric shock. We are currently investigating the incident.
