Flames and thick black smoke billowed from the stricken Boeing 777 shortly after it landed on the runway. On Board were 282 passengers and 18 crew members. The plane took off from the airport of India and went to Dubai. Most on Board were citizens of India. The aircraft departed Trivandrum international airport at 10:19 a.m. local time and was supposed to land at 12:50 p.m. in Dubai.

After the teams respond to emergency situations managed to put out the fire from the plane was only half. The whole upper part of the fuselage of the aircraft burned to the ground. The aircraft landed on the belly during the landing.

The Chairman of Emirates, said can't report what happened because the investigation is ongoing. But he said the fire started after the plane landed. The pilot, who was flying the plane has more than 7 thousand flight hours.

All flights departing from Dubai international airport, was detained for several hours and all incoming flights were diverted to other airports. Dubai international airport is the busiest airport for international passengers.
