Her daughters were born rare genetic disease albinism. Resulting in virtually no skin pigmentation, hair and eyes. And that makes them a target.

Recently released report, Amnesty International described how Malawi these children were hunted like animals. They were dismembered and sold their bones, which according to local customs to bring good luck and happiness. In southern Africa in recent years also has been a surge of murders of children albinos living in the country. In April were killed 4 people including a child.

One of the injured 17-year-old Davis Fletcher, who left his home to watch a football match with a friend, but never returned. The police reported that he was kidnapped by 4 men and killed. Criminals dismembered his body. Cut off the hands and feet and removed the bone. The rest of the attackers body buried in a shallow grave.

In 2014, at least 18 of albinos were killed and five others were abducted and went missing. Youngest daughter Agnes was one of them. She was abducted by three men, but the villagers chased them. Then the criminals left the child, found her in the bushes. Later it became known that one of the criminals was the brother of the victim.

Attackers have been known to sell body parts of witches in Malawi and neighbouring Mozambique, hoping to make quick money.

Thousands of people with albinism are at high risk of kidnappings and killings by private individuals and criminal groups, while the United Nations warns that the albino Malawi are threatened with "extinction."
