A major terrorist attack happened this morning in Istanbul. The list of those killed 11 people. Several wounded. The bomb exploded at a public transport stop.

The tragedy occurred at 8: 40 am at the bus stop near the city's University, also near this place are some of the main tourist sites of Istanbul, the Grand Bazaar and Sultanahmet square. The aim of the terrorists, bomb, was the bus with the police. Killing 11 people - 7 police officers and 4 civilians. 36 people were injured. As a result of explosion the bus was destroyed and damaged the facades of nearby houses. Immediately after the explosion, according to eyewitnesses, shots were heard.
